Member, Board of Trustees, Chocolay Township, 1983 to 1993; Township Planning Commission, 1983 to 1988; Township Zoning Board of Appeals, 1983 to present; Attorney for Charter Township of Marquette and Charter Township of Chocolay.

Recreational interests include travel, reading, woodworking, fishing,canoeing and other outdoor activities.
